YOUR CHILD WILL  HAVE A

SUCCESSFUL DANCE EXPERIENCE

    Children at Main Street Ballet learn fundamental dance technique taught in an environment of discipline, strength (both mental and physical) and joy with life!  Your child is in the area's premier dance studio - students come to MSB for its high quality training from surrounding towns: Southbury, Middlebury, Roxbury, Watertown, Oxford, Newtown, Bridgewater and Seymour. Our focus is on your child's healthy development! Our elegant, studios, plus exceptionally qualified staff (our teachers are university degreed, internationally accredited or are performing professionals) will enhance your child's time at Main Street Ballet.  As a reflection of the professional dance world, Main Street offers a ballet based curriculum augmented with other dance styles to prepare its dancers for careers which require them to be versed in many techniques.


OUR FACILITY

     Main Street Ballet is housed in a modern, airy facility. The studios are specially designed with sprung floors and dance flooring for the prevention of injury.  


PERFORMANCES

     Each year Main Street Ballet students participate in the company's full-length Nutcracker and one other ballet production in the spring.  Students also perform in a modern, jazz and tap concert.  Other performances for upper level students include lecture/demonstrations and performances at local elementary and high schools, festivals, Local libraries, senior centers and the annual WinterFest of student choreography.

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are an essential part of Main Street Ballet. The success of the School's productions and activities depends on everyone contributing their time and skills. Tasks include: Backstage and dressing room, Boutique, Sewing and craft work, Publicity, Construction, Set & costume transporting, Programs. BE A VOLUNTEER! If you have a skill that you would like to contribute, please WE NEED YOU!
